Jane Street Europe

Jane Street is a quantitative proprietary trading firm that operates around the clock and around the globe.

We undertook the Employer's Requirements definition and performance specification for Trading floor and Class 1 Data Centre for their new City of London Offices, due for completion in the 1st quarter of 2010.

Sadler's Wells Theatre

London's 400 year home of Contemporary Dance.

A Client since 2005, Sadler's Wells has to be our favourite. A vibrant atmosphere and exciting organisation to work with.

We have assisted with a programme of infrastructure improvements. Most recently the replacement of the voice and communications architectures and Box Office Contact Centre.

Chelsea Harbour

The largest of its type, Chelsea Harbour is the home of the very best in design and decoration.

Chelsea Harbour Design Centre extension.  An approximately 175,000 sq. ft, scheme, to link with the adjacent Chambers Building to provide additional facilities over 4 floors.

The scheme includes a new Class 1 Data Centre to support local and European Operations; a flexible Telecommunications architecture to support a mixture of offices and retail space and an extensive Audio Visual and wayfinder systems throughout.

Headstrong London

Headstrong is a global consultancy providing clients with value-based solutions across, Consulting Application Outsourcing, Product Development Services and Business Process Outsourcing.

We provided a turn-key service for the preparation, delivery and occupation of their new City of London Offices.

Adjacent is the view of the Monument, from the roof-top of their building.


Welyn Garden City

Cephalon, a pharmaceuticals company aquired Zeneus pharma.

We provided the specification and implementation management for the IT infrastructure and Class 1 Data, for a 25,000 sq. ft. new office in Welwyn Garden City.


PetroChina International

PetroChina provides import, export and international transit of commodities including crude oil, refined oil products, petrochemical products and natural gas.

We assisted PetroChina to prepare and occupy new offices in Centre Point Tower.

This late 1960's Grade II listed development presented some interesting challenges for a 21st Century Business.


Preparation and occupation of 13,000 sq of new premises at no1 The Strand, London.

Previously located in The Shell Centre, York Road, neustar specified, managed and implemented the migration of the business to its new infrastructure and office space, the specified core systems outage window of 45 minutes.

Project included the full scope of IT infrastructure design and specification, (Room Specification, Capacity, Power, Heat load, Cable Topology, LAN, WAN, Voice and integrated VC and AV).

Nation School of Film & Television

Having recently completed the ICT infrastructure specification to carry data, voice and video, this new build project has been tendered and is currently under construction.

A exciting project that brings a new set of challenges.  The project blends multimedia, animation, broadcast, film and IT for the next generation of creative Film and TV professionals.

Police Service

Preparation of Laboratory space and technical infrastructure to support Police Video Forensic Analysis, Audio Forensic Analysis and Telephone Forensic Analysis. Three separate Lab projects across a 24 month time frame.

With over 10,500 terminations in the Video Analysis Suites alone, the project was successfully completed early than scheduled. The Video Lab went on to fulfil a pivotal role in 7/7 attacks on London.

Mintz Levin

Founded in 1933, Mintz Levin is a versatile law firm of 500 dedicated attorneys representing diverse international clients in many industries; with offices located in Boston, Washington, D.C., New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, Stamford (CT)and London.

We provided a turn-key service for the preparation, delivery and occupation of their new City of London, Grade II Listed Offices in Ironmonger Lane.



Imaging Research Solutions Limited (IRSL) was a Joint Venture between Nycomed-Amersham Imaging (NAI) and the Medical Research Council (MRC). NAI have committed to make a multi-million pound investment over the next five years in new state-of-the-art imaging equipment and resources at IRSL.  The business has since been acquired by GE.

The project scope included the re-design and complete renovation of the existing Clinical, Laboratory, Office and Communications / Data Centre accommodation; a complete replacement of the existing network distribution, power & HVAC infrastructure and business systems. The mission: to provide a resilient, open business, research and collaboration environment, capable of distributing high volumes of image data around the clock and around the world.

A fascinating project, involving some brilliant minds in a fascinating field of science.



This unique partnership between the public and private sector was formed to leverage the opportunities presented by the increasingly important applications of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) to the pharmaceutical industry and in clinical diagnosis.



Development of a "Managed Service Centre" (MSC), network and systems design for a for 120,000 hosts, in a 1,000,000 sq. ft. co-location centre. 

Given the sheer scale of available Computer space, the MSC required the capability to intelligently and proactively monitor in excess of 120,000 host, possibly belonging to 120,000 different customers and potentially on 120,000 different networks, in addition to the health and security of the building itself.

The solution provided an analysis of all connected systems, coupled with automatic fault reporting and alert capabilities. There were two notable key strengths of this design:

  • scalability; enabling low bandwidth connection of remote hosting  and co-location centres to the MSC, for 24x7 management and monitoring. Thus extending the MSC service offering to external customers. 

  • Its ability to intelligently determine the root cause (root cause analysis) of a problem and filter out other 'noise' generated as a result of this root cause (the domino effect). With a low cost of ownership, this solution enabled a relatively small number of people to manage and monitor high volumes of equipment.

Equant, Slough
Berkshire, UK

120,000ft2 Technical R&D, Sales and Administration office development in Slough, Berkshire.

The development consisted of two Campus buildings seating 100 and 600 people respectively.

neustar were appointed to design and manage the integration of the business technology in to the fabric of the building. Elements included, Machine Room/MDF design, Fire Protection and detection, LAN, WAN, (mono & multi-mode) fibre and UTP topology, Telephony, Audio Visual facilities, Videoconferencing, Intranet Orientation guide development, Move Management and Business Continuity throughout the migratory period.

The project commenced in August 1999, achieving early occupation of Building A in October 1999 and full occupation of buildings A and B on 1st March 2000. Completed on target and within budget.


Equant, Atlanta
Georgia USA

165,000ft2 Technical Development, NOC, Sales and Administration, office development in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The scope of the project included 10 floors of a shell and core development, incorporating a Class 1 Network and Data Centre, Development Labs and a 24x7 Network Operations Centre (NOC).

neustar were appointed to initiate a global standardisation program, manage the delivery and integration of high availability datacomms, telephony services and distribution to the end user.

Elements included, Network & Data Centre/MDF design, Stand-by Generator Set, Fire Protection and early detection, LAN, WAN, (mono & multi-mode) fibre and UTP topology, Telephony, Audio Visual facilities, Videoconferencing, Intranet Orientation guide development and supporting documentation.

The project commenced in May 2000, achieving early occupation of 3 floors in October/November 2000 and full occupation on 1st February 2001. Completed on time and within budget.

Two stories of a new building requiring complete design, specification and fit out for all IT services to provide a fully operational European Sales, Support and Call centre headquarters. All I.T. services including AC/DC power and A/C implemented on time and within budget .

Juniper Networks Boulevard de Courcelles Paris, France.

Single story on third floor of a listed building in central Paris. Total refurbishment of all electrical works. Requiring complete design, specification and fit out for all IT services to provide a fully operational Paris Sales and Engineering support office.. All specialist services and installations negotiated to meet requirements in line with listed building constraints.All I.T. services Implemented on time and within budget .

500 sq metres on one floor.

3rd floor

  • 45 user stations for European Sales and marketing organisation.
